Water Route – Walking tour to Fogo Lake – full day

São Miguel Island has a lot to offer both land and in the sea. Inland there are a lot of amazing walking tours that you can do that will take you into the insides of the Island. Join us for this walking tour into Fogo Lake!

The walking tour to Fogo Lake includes a trail of around 8 km on the old water paths that provided potable water to the city of Lagoa from Lagoa do Fogo lake. A super easy and fun way to explore amazing views over beautiful shades of green and waterfalls.

After the walking tour , you will be able to see the astonishing views over Fogo Lake on the top part of the mountain. Here you can relax and enjoy the untouched nature of the lake.

To end the day in perfect relaxation, Caldeira Velha is on the way. This spot is inside of the mountain and has waterfalls of hot water where you can bathe in. This is definitely the perfect ending of a full day in our company.

• Procyon or tourism office at Ponta Delgada city center.
• Departure at 9h00 and returning at around 17h00

• Please bring swimwear, towel, sunblock, and your own reusable water bottle.
• Required a minimum of 2 participants.
• Light meal included.
• Tour can be canceled on the day due to bad weather conditions, lack of participants or third parties issues.
