Coasteering Experience in Azorean Atlantic waters
COASTEERING EXPERIENCE
Lots of adventure with jumps out of a cliff, swimming in the Atlantic, snorkeling, climbing and all this in one activity!
The Azores are home of many beautiful coastlines that’s why a coasteering experience in the Azores is a one of a kind thing to do. In other words, this is a must-do activity!
Through coasteering, we can experience the beautiful coast of Sao Miguel island and some of its many caves.
Looking for some island adventure? Coasteering consists in exploring the coastlines with some climbing, swimming, and jumps! Above all, it keeps you active!
This experience takes around 3 hours. This means that you will be walking on the coast, jump, swim and explore some caves. You can also do some snorkel. Sometimes, even scrambling it’s needed.
Most of our coasteering experiences take place in Caloura, Ribeirinha or Porto Formoso. Depending on the weather and sea conditions it can take around 20 to 30 minutes to drive from Ponta Delgada;
There will be some time for the equipment distribution and get ready, a security briefing followed by a small hike until the starting point.
Note: It’s necessary to have the full name of all participant, Foot size, Weight and high ( for the equipment size) and your birth date ( for insurance purpose). For this activity is mandatory to know how to swim and feel comfortable with the sea.
Recommended to bring: Swimwear, Towel, Comfortable clothes, Sunblock, water, and snacks.
Included: Accredited guides, All the material (wetsuits and socks, life-vests or PFDs, helmet, footwear), Insurances, Photos / Videos, Snack or drinks.
