Tour to Sete Cidades lake and Volcanic crater – half day

Join us in this adventure to explore the west part of São Miguel island and discover Sete Cidades Lake. One of the seven natural wonders of Portugal, a volcanic complex full of beautiful spots to breathe pure nature.

In the tour to Sete Cidades you will be taken to one of the most famous lakes in the Azores islands with amazing contrasts between the water and the sky and the green from the land.

This is a must to do for sure and we have the perfect option for a half day!

Starting from Ponta Delgada, we go in the direction of Sete Cidades Vulcanic complex.

On the way up to the mountain top, it will allow us to see all the middle and flattest part of the island, the old structures and the dark blue Atlantic ocean as background.

Inside of the Sete Cidades volcano structure, we will explore several points and visit small lakes and discover the amazing and peaceful nature within.

During the tour, our local guides will tell you about our costumes and traditions, local Flora and Fauna, Geology, and much more.

• Procyon or tourism office at Ponta Delgada city center.
• Departure starts at 9h00 and returning at around 12h30.

Notes:

• Please bring swimwear, towel, sunblock, and your own reusable water bottle and a jacket (because the weather here can get crazy)
• Required a minimum of 2 participants.

• Tour can be canceled on the day due to bad weather conditions, lack of participants or third parties issues.
